Demonetization- an assault on lay man : AICC Observer Vishnu Prasad

Mangaluru, Jan 7, 2017 : AICC Observer Dr Vishnu Prasad has questioned why Modi Government has failed to act against high profile industrialists who hold large quantum of black money.

Addressing a protest organised by the District Congress in front of the DC office on January 7, Saturday to oppose the demonetization, Prasad described the demonetization as an assault on the lay man.

He also exuded confidence that the Congress under the leadership of its Vice President Rahul Gandhi will win the fight against demonetization. He also predicted that the people will give a befitting reply to the BJP in the coming elections.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai who also spoke alleged that the people have been disillusioned with the fake promises of Modi. The government must make public the list of black money holders as well as the amount seized, he demanded. Rai also described the nation’s economic condition as critical, post demonetization.

State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader and MLA of Mangaluru South JR Lobo also spoke.
