Mangaluru, July 21, 2016 : The much awaited Tulu film ’Dabak Dabaa Aisa’ has been reportedly leaked two weeks ahead of the release of the film. Already the film producers have lodged a complaint with the Film Chamber, Urva Police Station, Karkala Police Station and Cyber Crime Cell of Mangaluru. The police who too have taken up the issue seriously are likely to raid mobile shops, cyber centres and other places.
In the event police find any fake CD of the film or find the film downloaded on mobile phones or computers, the same would be seized and those found guilty are liable for eight years of imprisonment.
Noted actor and Tulu theatre personality Devadas Kapikad has condemned the alleged leak of the film and said all Tuluvas should condemn this. If a Tulu film which has scope in just around 10 to 13 theatres is leaked, it means that a Tulu film too was in the range of Hindi and Tamil films which are leaked these days, says Devadas Kapikad.
