DK reports 832 fresh Covid-19 cases and Udupi reports 174, 18 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru, Jun 19, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 832 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 88,181.

552 More Covid patients discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 79,947. The district has 7,195 active cases. A total of 1,040 deaths have occurred so far, including 16 on Saturday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 174 fresh cases on Saturday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 65,190.

The district has 1,885 active cases. As many as 454 patients were discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 62,934.

A total of 371 deaths have occured so far, including 2 on Saturday.
