DC asks officials to strictly adhere to Covid-19 guidelines during SSLC exams

Mangaluru, June 21, 2020:    Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh who addressed a function at Capitanio High School here on June 20, Saturday after releasing handouts and posters on the preparatory measures for the upcoming SSLC exams, instructed officials to  sanitize  all rooms where examination is to be held from June 25 to July 4. She said all examination centres should have a health counter and students should be allowed into the exam hall only  after subjecting them to thermal screening.

All classrooms must be equipped with CC Cameras and the lavatories of the schools must be kept clean, the DC said.  While asking students to strictly adhere to social distancing, she said all students must compulsorily bring lunch and water while coming from home.

Exam supervisors and students will not be allowed to bring mobile phones into the classrooms, she said.

Additional DC  M J Roopa,DDPI and all education officials were present.

 Hall tickets  through  WhatsApp : Hall tickets have been sent to all students from Kerala through WhatsApp and those  who have  not received will be issued the same by the nodal officers at the border. All students from Kerala will be brought to the exam centres by buses  from the border  as private vehicles are  not allowed.
