Cricket fans who could not obtain leave are watching it in bits and pieces at TV showrooms, which are trying to make some business by turning on their televisions to ESPN.

Cricket fans all over Mangalore are glued to their television sets, and TV show rooms, restaurants, lounges, and hotels all over the city have installed projectors and LCD screens so that fans can watch India fighting against Pakistan for the coveted trophy.
A number of offices have declared a half holiday. Markets too remained closed after lunch, and bars and restaurants are attempting to cash in on the most intense cricket fever that ever gripped the city. Some bars are also offering special dishes and beverages to re-create the live stadium experience.

Shops and various other establishments have pulled down their shutters to watch the cricket match.
