Country bombs hurled at homes of BJP, RSS leaders in Kasaragod

Kasaragod, May 14: Country made bombs hurled at the recsidence od  leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Payyanur assembly constituency falling under Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency on Monday, 13 May, 2019,

Bombs were hurled at residence of former Payyanur Mandal BJP secretary Panakkil Balakrishnan who hails from Korom  The bomb exploded but none was hurt.

Bombs were also thrown at the house of , Kareyil Rajesh, RSS worker from Korom but fell short of the target, landed near a bridge with no casualties. Rajesh was attacked in the past.

CPM, DYFI  and RSS- BJP enmity have been going for several years. Recently, the BJP candidate from Kasaragod was assaulted by CPM and DYFI workers during election campaigning.
