After, Hephsiba Rani Korlapati took charge of Commissioner she decentralised and tried channelize the functioning of the urban governing as required under law. Hitherto, files were directly sent to the commissioner for accord by the case worker of the concerned corporater.
Ramanatha Rai invited some senior leader including former mayor Mahabala Marla and others and discussed the matter. Rai was in Mangalore Circuite house on Friday April 10, 2015 for discussing the matter of construction new office building for District Congress Committtee, which was pending for long time.
