Congress thanks DK voters for record polling per centage

Mangalore, April 18, 2014 :  Ibrahim Kodijal, Interim President of the District Congress has said that the highest voting per centage registered in Dakshina Kannada constituency in the April 17 Lok Sabha elections has made it clear that there was a pro-Congress wave in the district.

Addressing press persons at the Congress Election office on April 18, Friday,  he expressed gratitude to all the voters of the district who exercised their franchise. He said the Congers was happy that the elections has been peaceful and also acknowledged the hard works put in by the Electing Commission, Dakshina Kannada DC and District Election officer AB Ibrahim and several other officials.

Ibrahim further struck a note of optimism when he said that the Congress candidate B Janardhana Poojary would emerge victorious in the elections.

Kallige Taranath Shetty, Congress Spokesperson, Mahabala Maarla, Mayor and others were present.
