Mangaluru, June 03, 2019: KPCC Vice President Prof Radhakrishna has said that the Congress party was not against Hindi language but was against imposition of the language.
He was referring to the three language formula proposed by the Centre. Speaking to reporters at the District Congress Office here on June 3, Monday, he said the Congress does not believe in Ek Desh Ek Bhasha but believes in Anek Bhasha EK Desh.
Recalling how the Prime Minister prayed to the Constitution before his second tenure, he said some ministers appointed by the Prime Minister have not abided by the Constitution. He also referred to HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal who has given incorrect date of birth and also prefixes a doctorate which he got from the Colombo Open University which is not recognised internationally.
Referring to the water crisis in Dakshina Kannada, Prof Radhakrishna said the Legislators of the district ought to solve the problem instead of criticising.
