Chappara Muhurtha performed for World GSB Conference at Hejamady

Padubidri, Dec 10, 2016: The Chappara Muhurtha for the upcoming World GSB Conference at Hejamady was performed on December 9, Friday by Raghunandan S Kamath, businessman from Mumbai. Various rituals were held at the Sri Lakshminarayana Temple at Hejamady in this connection. The Sammelan is scheduled to be held on December 25 at the Bastipadu Grounds in Hejamady.
Former MLA and former deputy speaker, Yogish Bhat who spoke on the occasion said the Sammelan which will be attended by several dignitaries including Union Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu is set to give a new dimension to the activities of the community while also strengthening its organisation.
ZP Member from Padubidri Shashikanth Padubidri, Hejamady Gram Panchayat President Vishalakshi Putran, BR Bhat, Venkatesh Baliga, Sanoor Narasimha Kamath and many other leaders of the GSB community were present.
