Mangaluru Sep 15, 2016: With regard to the Cauvery row, Health Minister Ramesh Kumar said that the state government can’t deny the verdict and should abide by the supreme court verdict to provide 15,000 cusec of water to Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to the press after visiting UT Khader’s residence at Bendoorwell today September 15 Thursday he said that there is no court above the supreme court and cant go against the verdict. If state government deny Supreme court’s verdict and it will be a blunder and shame.
When asked about the faliure of Harish Santwana Scheme , he said that certain schemes have been executed but not been fully enforced. Myriad schemes are on line but beneficiaries do not get benefited for which we are planning to enforce health policy. If a citizen is deprived from medical facilities then it is disgrace to the state.
Minister for Food and Civil Supplies UT Khader, Chief Whip Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza, MLA JR Lobo, Ibrahim Kodijaal and other were present.
