Cattle trafficking truck seized ; 59 buffaloes rescued

Kota, July 24, 2020: Police who detected a case of inhuman trafficking of as many as 59 buffaloes in a truck from Haryana to Kerala, at the Saibarakatte checkpost during the wee hours of Friday, have arrested four persons including the driver of the truck.
The poor animals were crammed in the truck in a very inhuman way. Kota police who were on a routine checking near the checkpost at around 3 am grew suspicious on noticing the truck and on inspection found the buffaloes crammed inside. The animals have been taken to the Neelavara Goshala.
Further investigations are in progress.
