Cattle Transporters waylaid by a youth near Ellooru

Kundapur June 24, 2016 : The vehicle transporting cattle in a private vehicle waylaid by a youth on National Highway 66 Near Ellooru on June 23 ,Thusrday in the evening.

kundapur Rajesh Kini is the brave youth who waylaid the vehicle. It is learnt that the cattle were being transporting from Halkal near Kollur to Golilihole ia a Maruthi Ecco Van .

On noticing the cattles in the van Rajesh followed the vehicle and waylaid them . With help of Byndoor police the cattles were recued and four culprits involved were arrested.

Rajesh Kini said “It is well known that cattle are being ferried here uninterrupted. The innocent animals are being taken in the vehicles in most inhuman way. We have handed over the suspects to the police who should make sure that such incidents do not recur.”

The investigation is going on in Byndoor police station.

Illegal cattle transport is banned but still going on in the district. Are the police unaware of it or acting so.

Knowing the cattle transporting is illegal They still go on with but .But youth has to be praised for his act
