Mangaluru, Jan 05, 2021: A car which went out of control of its driver plunged into the Nandini river near the Pavanje bridge on National Highway 66 on January 5, Tuesday. The two men in the car luckily escaped unhurt.
The mishap took place when Ashraf of Katipalla Krishnapura was returning from Pavanje along with his friend. As soon as the car plunged into the river, the two managed to come out of the car and swim ashore.
The locals immediately informed the police and the Suratkal police who rushed to the spot arranged to lift the car from the river with the help of a crane.
