CSI Kanthi Church celebrates harvest festival

Mangalore, Oct 12, 2011: CSI Kanthi Church celebrated the harvest festival in Jeppu on Oct 12 Wednesday.

The harvest festival is celebrated every year to express gratitude for the first fruits of the year. Fr. Winfred Amanna led the service and Fr. Premkumar Soans ministered the Word of God.

The Harvest Festival Sports Committee will organize a prize distribution programme at 6:00 p.m. today for the winners of the Annual Athletic Sports Meet held on the grounds of Cascia High School in Jeppu.

Fr. Winfred J. Amanna, the presbyter-in-charge, will preside over the event and KSD Premkumar Soans, the treasurer of CSI and presbyter-in-charge of St. Paul’s Church, will be the chief guest.
