Mangaluru, Aug 17, 2015: The Mangaluru City Corporation’s apathy to solve the water problems of Jeppinamogaru ward residents even during rainy season, has tested the patience of the locals. On August 17, Monday, the CPI(M) raised its voice for the cause of Jeppinamogaru residents by staging a protest in front of the MCC office.
The protestors alleged that he MCC has failed to solve the problem despite complaints. They said Guddepadpu, Tandolige and other places in Jeppinamogaru ward are reeling under water problem.
They even pointed out that the over head tank constructed by Jeppinamogaru Yuvaka Mandala to which borewell water was supplied is also serving little purpose owing to ill-maintenance.
