CPI(M), DYFI activists plant saplings to protest bad road at Jeppinamogaru

Mangaluru, June 14,2017 :  CPI(M) and DYFI activists protested against the sorry state of a road at Jeppinamogaru on June 14, Wednesday by planting saplings  right on the road. They have also demanded concretisation of the road.

Addressing the protestors, CPI(M) district unit Secretary Sunil Kumar Bajal  said  the road was last bituminised in 1996   following  repeated pressure mounted by the party. Since then except  patch works nothing has been done. Even the local BJP corporator is apathetic to the problem, he alleged.

CPI(M) leader J Balakrishna Shetty,  DYFI District Secretary Santosh Bajal, party leaders Chandrahas G, Jayanthi B Shetty and others were present.

A good way of protesting and raising our expressing our anger over the MCC . The condition of roads is so bad that the two wheeler riders may lose balance and fall off the vehicle .

The saplings may grow into hug trees as many of the roads are filled with water and is in the worst condition . The MCC are blindly watching it
