Addressing the protestors Sunil Kumar Bajal  lashed out at the MCC for not making alternate arrangements for the street vendors  before evicting them. He also stated that the promise to provide ID cards after the formation of town vending committee, was of no use. He further alleged that the MCC authorities have not returned the seized goods of the street vendors even after they paid the fine.

The protest was withdrawn after the Revenue DC Raju Mogaveera assured to convene a meet either on April 14 or 15 to discuss the issue.
