CET Exam commences today

Mangalore, Apr 28: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for medical and engineering courses was held in 12 centres in Mangalore on April 28, Wednesday.

St Aloysius PU College, Milagres PU College, St Agnes PU College, Canara PU College, Government PU Colleges for Women at Balmatta and Car Street, and Madhusoodan D Kushe PU College at Attavar are the centres in Mangalore, where students wrote their first exam.

The centres in Puttur are at St Philomena’s PU College and the Government PU College. The centres in Moodbidri are at Alva’s PU College, Jain PU College, and Mahaveera PU College.

The CET exam is an admission to professional courses like Medical and Engineering. This year, around 6,900 students, from various parts of Dakshina Kannada district took part in the exam. The test is being conducted on tomorrow also.
