CCB arrest Son of Vamanjoor Rohi for plotting to kill a businessman

Mangaluru: June 24, 2015: The CCB police have arrested two persons on charge of plotting to kill a business and carrying lethal weapon.

The two accused has been identified as Pavan Raj Shetty (18) Son Rohidas Shetty alias Vamanjoor Rohi and Surya Kumar (34) a resident of Gurunagara in Jeppinamogaru.

Surya Kumar was earlier arrested and for Murdering Vasudev Shenoy and a case was also registered at Barke police station for peddling Ganja.

Pavan Raj involved in attempt to murder case in 2014.  A case was registered in rural police station against him for attempting to murder Santhosh Kottary when he was just 17. Now after one year of the incident Pavan has once again showed his dark side by plotting to kill a businessman.

On June 22, Surya Kumar and Pavan Raj were plotting to murder a politician cum businessman and carrying deadly weapons in their vehicle. The police acting on the information that they were at Vamanjoor, went there and arrested both. The police seized Yamaha Fazer motorbike, 3 machetes, knife, 250 gram ganja and mobile phone from their possession.

The duo has been handed over to Mangaluru police station for further investigation
