Body of slain RSS activist Sharath being taken in procession

Mangaluru, July 08, 2017: The procession carrying the body of RSS activist Sharath who succumbed to injuries he received during the brutal attack on him at BC Road, has begun from the A J Hospital at Kuntikan in Mangaluru. Hundreds of Parivar activists had gathered outside the hospital wearing black bands in hand.
The body will be taken to the residence of Sharath at Sajipa. Police have maintained strict vigil in and around the hospital as well as across the district.
In Bantwal taluk, CRPF personnel have been deployed. As a precautionary measure all shops and business establishments in B C Road and Farangipete have been asked to down shutters by the police.
