Mangaluru, July 09: The famous ‘Big Mishra’s Pedha’ opened it’s outlet in Mangaluru on Sunday, July 08 2018. An exclusive Sweet, Namkeens and Chaat shop, it has reputation for quality and taste that matters. The group has a chain of outlets throughout Karnataka and one in Pune.

“They say Big surprises come in small packages. Today, after I finished my morning rounds and was returning home. Enroute a new shop caught my attention which I later discovered as famous Mishra’s Dharwad Pedha.” Indeed, the items here are special and tasty” says Dr. Padmanbha Kamath.

The exclusive Big Mishra’s Pedha outlet is housed at G-1 Ground floor, Essel Chanbers, Karangalpady, (Near Bunts Hostel) Mangaluru.

‘Mishra Pedha’ is the one of the famous sweet manufacturing firms in India. Mishra Pedha is house hold name in Southern India, especially in Karnataka. Behind this fame, there is three generations . Shri Avadhbhihari  Mishra is the founder of Mishra Pedha. He came to dharwad in 1933 & settled in Line Bazar with little to start a business. He started producing Dharwad Pedha in very small scale. After him, his son Shri Ganesh Mishra expanded the business and started producing Pedha in Hubli at city Bus-stand. The third generation, his son Sanjay Ganesh Mishra expanded the business & built up the Empire by opening 13 branches in Hubli, Gadag, Davengree & Pune.
