Bhatkal: 15 yr old boy dies in tragic road mishap

Bhatkal, June 21, 2015: A tragic mishap reported on the National Highway 66 at Shirali on June 21, Sunday morning   claimed the life of a 15 year old boy.

 

 

Nagaraj Dotamma Naik of Shardoli, a class X student in a local school died when he was hit by a Bolero vehicle. He was returning home after a hair cut when the Bolero which was heading towards Honnavar hit him. The driver who escaped from the scene of the mishap, later surrendered before the police at the local station.

Traffic on the NH was hit for over an hour following the accident. Bhatkal Rural Police have registered a case.
