Udupi, Feb 2, 2017 : The single judge bench of the State High Court led by Justice S C Dinesh Kumar has on February 1, Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the bail application of Rajeshwari Shetty and Navaneeth, the main accused in the businessman Bhasker Shetty murder case, to February 13.
It may be recalled here that Rajeshwari, the wife of Shetty and her son Navaneeth had moved the High Court after the District Court had rejected their bail petition on December 28 last year on the ground that the evidences at the outset revealed the involvement of the duo in the crime.
A few days ago, the State High Court had even issued interim stay to the appointment of Shantharam Shetty, an advocate of Mangaluru as the Special Public Prosecutor in the case.
