Beneficiaries petitions get attention at DK Janata Darshana

Bantwal, Nov 20, 2014:  The second janata darshana programme of DK was  held at Bantwal under the leadereship of District-in-Charge Minister Ramanath Rai. Approvals for solution were grated to about  1,800 eligible beneficiaries on the occasion.

Various supports and cheques were distributed to 11 persons under natural calamity, 10 persons under Chief Minister’s relief fund, 31 persons under national family fund, widow pension sanction letter to 291, sanction letter for 90 handicapped, sanction letter for 531 aged under Sandhya Suraksha yojane, power tiller for three persons, sewing machines for unemployed women, cultivation chits for 79 persons and sites for 125 families.

Speaking to those present and the press on the occasion, Rai said that janata darshan is organised to avoid running from pillar to post to avail facilities for the suffering.  He added that the 20 point programme introduced by former prime minister Indira Gandhi has helped poor to own land. Janata darshan programme will ensure that the facilities from the government reaches all the eligible. As a MLA,  he said he ensured that the government sanctioned mini vidhan soudha, government bus stand, traffic police station, stadium, multi-village drinking water scheme, and UGD facilities to Bantwal and nearby areas.

As a part of birth anniversary celebrations of Indira Gandhi ‘national integrity’ oath was administered on the occasion. A total of 482 applications received were disposed off on the spot. The officials attended to 163 applications received from November 7 to 14.   ZP President Asha Thimmappa Gowda, Vice President Sathish Kumpala, DC A BIbrahim, ZP CEO Tulasi Maddineni and others present.
