Heggade in his complaint had alleged that  Timarody was involved in spreading false news regarding him  in the media since the past one year.

In his complaint Heggade further charged Timarody of blaming him of various offences  in connection with a few incidents  that have been reported in Dharmasthala and around.

The complaint further said  that Timarody in an interview to a private  TV channel on July 24 had accused him (Veerendra Heggade) of telephoning the  Belthangady Circle Inspector  to arrest Timarody.

Heggade in his complaint has further requested the police to investigate the matter.

It has been gathered that the SP after going through the case had sought legal opinion following which a case was registered against Timarody in Belthangady police station.
