Belthangady, May 30, 2018: Talented Kannada film director Santosh Shetty Kateel has  slipped to death at the Ermai Falls in Belthangady on May 30, Wednesday.

The tragedy took place when Shetty along with three others had been to the place for a photo shoot. He was the director of Kannada movie "Kanasu-Kannu Theredaaga."

As the area had experienced heavy rains, he reportedly slipped and fell into the water.

Fire service personnel and  police personnel retrieved the body.
