Belthangady : 2 nephews abscond after killing uncle

Belthangady, April 24,2016 :  In a shocking case of murder reported from Perady near Venur on April 22, Friday night, a 55 year old man  was allegedly killed by his two nephews.

DayanandThe deceased has been identified as Sunder Moolya, while the accused are Satish (37) and Dayanand (32).

It is learnt, there had arisen an argument between Satish and Sunder  at a shop in the village after the  latter refused to give money to the former as demanded by him.  An  infuriated Satish had attacked  Sunder who had managed to escape.

However, later  Satish along with his brother Dayanand arrived at Sunder’s house and again attacked him over a property matter. It is said  the two had slapped Sunder on his face following which he collapsed and died.

Later Dayanand telephoned  Sunder’s wife and informed her that Sunder who had first collapsed on the road was brought home where he has collapsed again.  His wife who rushed home was shocked to see Sunder dead outside the house.

It is learnt the accused who were present in Sunder’s house even later on, however fled no sooner they saw the police. They are absconding since then.

 Sunder’s wife Sujatha has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that her husband had property dispute with the duo who had threatened him and had quarrelled with him several times in the past.

 She even alleged that the duo had stolen jewels from the house after killing  Sunder.

ASP VS Kumar, DySP Bhasker Rai and other senior police officials visited the  crime spot.
