Basrur Mahalingeshwara Temple burgled

Kundapur, July 30, 2018: Thieves who broke into the Mahalingeshwara Temple at Basuru have decamped with the silver platings of the idols of Goddess Durgaparameshwari and Ganapathi.
The theft is learnt to have occurred late night on Sunday.
The dog squad and finger print experts have been pressed into service. Kundapur Rural Police are investgiating the case.
