Barke cop’s humanitarian gesture wins Commissioner’s commendation letter

Mangaluru, July 23, 2017: Kishore Poojari, a constable from Barke Police station who displayed exemplary humanitarian gesture by  ensuring timely treatment to a school boy who was injured due to a fall, was  given a pat on the back and  honoured with a commendation letter from City Police Commissioner T R Suresh.

On July 19 when  Kishore was on duty at the Bokkapatna police outpost, he saw a student from  Bokkapatna school bleeding in his leg due to a fall. The constable immediately rushed to the help of the boy and administered first aid  to him before sending him home. A photo of the same had gone viral in social sites.
