Bantwal, Feb 10, 2020:  A young man who had  entered the lake of the Karinja shrine has drowned on Sunday. The deceased  is Sukesh (26), son of Sesappa Madivala of Vakkadigoli near Siddakatte.

Sukesh who worked at a hotel in Mangaluru had been to Karinja along with two of his friends on Sunday when the incident took place.

Punjalakatte police are investigating the case.
