Bantwal: Trio videograph woman bathing; try to molest maid

Bantwal, Mar 07, 2015: In a shocking case reported from Bolanturu in Bantwal taluk on March 5, Thursday night, three men who tried to video record a married woman while she was bathing at her house, later reportedly attempted to outrage the modesty of a maid who noticed their act.

muhamed 0 A case has been registered against three persons in this connection. Sources say one of them Gooli Shafii alias Mohammad Shafi (30) has been arrested. The other accused are Addu alias Naushad and Unais Madaka. Police are on the look out for them.

It is said the woman, a teacher from another district was taking bath when she heard some sound outside. She immediately asked her maid to find out what it is. When the maid reportedly saw the trio video graphing the bathing of the woman, she objected when the trio allegedly tried to molest her.

All the three have been booked under Section354 of IPC. The arrested Shaffi has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
