Bantwal, May 6, 2015 : The relics of an ancient dilapidated shrine were found amid the bushes of a hilly at a place called Kedage near Allipade in Devasyapadur village of Bantwal taluk, arousing much curiosity among locals.
It has been learnt that the relics were of a Daivasthana as several pooja articles used in a Daivasthana and a stone idol of a Daiva were found.
The relics were fist noticed by a local resident named Aithappa Bangera who had gone to collect greens in the nearby forest. Experts believe that these were the relics of a Brahma Baidarkala Garadi.
The artistically carved idol as well as sword and other articles have attracted the attention of the locals who have now decided to consult an astrologer. , Artistes Arrived For KCO Fiesta 2015
