Bantwal , Jan 16, 2018 : Thieves who broke into a house near Panolibail on January 15, Monday night have decamped with cash and valuables worth several lakhs of rupees.

The theft occurred in the residence of  Madhukrishna.  The thieves had made their way into the house  by breaking open  the back door. Later, they  broke open the cupboard to steal jewellery weighing seven and half sovereigns, silver articles worth Rs 60,000 apart from a cash of Rs 35,000.

Senior police officials of Bantwal have visited the place.  Finger print experts and sniffer squad have also been pressed into service.
