There is information that the Bantwal Police have attested the Bhajrangdal leader named Bhuvith Shetty, who also happens to be the co-convenor of the Bantwal unit of Bhajrangdal. Though Bhuvith has deleted the comment which justifies the killing of Kalburgi but also  warns that Prof. KS Bhagwan who  is known for his controversial comments, would follow the former, the screen shots of the same is still being circulated.

The message posted through twitter handle @GarudaPurana at 10.41 am, two hours after Prof. Kalburgi was shot dead at his Dharwad residence, stated that ‘ Then it was UR Ananthamurthi, now it’s Kalburgi.  Mock Hinduism and die a dog’s death. And dear KS Bhagwan you are next.”

The Bantwal police have reportedly booked Bhuvith under IPC Sections 153 and 506. Here it is worth mentioning that Bhuvith was arrested  last year on charges of attempting murder while   intercepting a cattle trafficking vehicle along with other  Bhajrangdal activists.

It has also been gathered  that a person named Nilim Dutta has  written to the Additional Chief Secretary of the State Home Department demanding action against Bhuvith for his comments.
