Ballari Bishop urges people to derive inspiration from life of St. Pio

Mangaluru, Sep 28, 2015 : Bishop of Ballari Rev. Dr Henry D’Souza participated in the Festal Mass during the Annual Feast of Padre Pio celebrated at the St Anne’s Friary on September 27, Sunday. Hundreds of devotees had gathered for the celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, Bishop Henry D’Souza exhorted the people to gain inspiration from the life of St Pio whose life teaches a lesson of service and sacrifice.

The Bishop was felicitated on the occasion. Even MLA JR Lobo who was present as a chief guest was honoured.

Roy Castelino, President of Konkani Sahitya Academy, Elias Fernandes, Director of Four Winds and others were present.

Fr Cyprian D’Souza Director of Divine Mercy Retreat Centre proposed the vote of thanks.
