Mangaluru, July 12, 2016 : The Third JMFC Court here has extended the judicial custody period of Naresh Shenoy, the prime accused in the RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case, till July 18.
Shenoy was produced before the court on July 11, Monday.
It may be recalled here that Shenoy who went missing within a few days of the murder of Vinayak Baliga which took place on March 21, was arrested by the police a few days ago, almost over two months after the murder.
Initially, he was entrusted to police custody by the court twice, to enable the police to interrogate him.
