Bakery owner attack case: 2 more including prime accused arrested

Mangaluru, Aug 20, 2015:  Ullal police have arrested two more persons including the prime accused in connection with the recent case wherein there was an attempt on the life of bakery owner at Mastikatte.

 

The incident had occurred on August 8 when a gang led by one Fayaz had attacked Abdul Salam, the bakery owner.  Those arrested are Fayaz of Manchila and Ummer Naufal.  Four others namely Arfan alias Arfa, Saifullasan alias Saifu and Hanif alias Ibrahim have already been arrested.

The bakery owner who had sustained serious injuries in the attack is presently undergoing treatment  in the hospital. It is learnt that the attack was in retaliation as  Fayaz was angry over Salam who had lodged a police complaint against the  former  for creating trouble  by consuming drugs in front of his  shop. Once the assailants had even broken the window panes of Salam’s house.

The prime accused Fayaz  has as many as 14 cases against him in Ullal station  including  two murder cases.
