Karkala, April 08, 2021:     A complaint has been lodged at the Karkala town police station  alleging that a four and a half month old child  died due to side effects of a vaccination administered to it at the  Primary Health Centre.

Sudhaker R Shetty, the complainant said the  baby was taken to the PHC at Renjala on April 7  at around 12.30 for  vaccination.  Later  after returning home at around 3 pm the child began frothing in mouth and fell ill. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Karkala.  However the child died in the evening.
