Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2017: BJP workers staged black flag demonstration against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on January 19, Thursday at the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to protest against the murder of a party worker in Kannur. The Kerala CM was at the station to board a train to Tiruvananthapuram after he visited Manjeshwar for the inaugural of Gilivindu Project.
Addressing the protestors, Vedavyasa Kamath, Mangaluru South BJP unit President said innocent BJP and Sangh Parivar workers are targeted in Kerala. "The Chief Minister was silently approving of the same’’ he alleged and demanded stern punishment to the killers.
Over 50 BJP workers who were protesting were detained and later released.
In Kasargod : In Kasargod too, BJP Yuva Morcha workers staged a black flag demonstration against Kerala CM who arrived for the laying of foundation of the new block of the General Hospital. Here also the protestors were detained by the cops.
