Mangaluru, Oct 19, 2021: A BJP worker who also happens to be a former member of Konaje Gram Panchayat narrowly escaped an attempt on his life near Konaje late night on October 13.

Prakash Shetty, a BJP worker was returning home with a friend Manjunath by a motorbike when some assailants who were behind  tried to attack Shetty with a machete. Luckily it only  brushed past him and he has suffered injury in his hand and is admitted to a hospital in Derlakatte.
