Mangalore, April 16, 2014: The district unit of the BJP organised a rally in the city on April 15, Tuesday under the leadership of party’s DK candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel. The rally which commenced at Kudroli concluded near the old bus stand area where the BJP leaders addressed a public meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Nalin said he was confident that Narendra Modi would be the next prime minister of the nation. She said the voters need to support the BJP to have a nation free from Congress.
He also claimed that the Yettinahole Project and Niddodi power projects will not be allowed if the BJP wins the elections.
District president of BJP Pratap Simha Nayak, former MLA Yogish Bhat, party leader Rukmaya Poojary, former minister Kota Srinivas Poojary and others spoke.
Several party leaders including Sulochana Bhat, Nagaraj Shetty, Srikar Prabhu, Rajesh Nayak, NB Aboobakker were present.
