Mangaluru, Dec 07, 2016: BJP showed their full support for Pancha Theertha ,Saptha Kshetra Ratha Yatra on December 10th to 12th by Nethravathi Samrakshana Samyuktha Samithi which will be led by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel to withdraw Yettinahole project, informed BJP District president Sanjeev Matandoor.
Addressing media at BJP office on December 07 Wednesday he said that, due to implementation of the project the district will definitely turn into barren land. People should also show their equal support to withdraw Yettinahole project.
He also said that, this rally will not be for political favour as BJP will support the rally and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will lead the rally. Committee members of Kannur Masjid and Milagres Church will also take part in the rally.
We also malign the plan set up by state government to construct dam where Kumaradhaara and Nethravathi river will be connected, said Matandoor.
The chariot will travel from Subramanya to Nelvadi, Kokkada and Dharmastala. On December 11 the rathayatra will continue from Ujire via Belthangady via BC Road via Kannur via Hampankatta and reach Kadri Temple. On December 12th chariot will leave Kadri-Surathkal- Mulki- Kinnigoli and then conclude at Kateel.
