BJP stages protest at Talapady tollgate

Mangaluru, Jan 01, 2020: BJP workers led by Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath protested at the Talapady tollgate on January 1, Wednesday to oppose the collection of toll from commuters. The protest was in     response to the failure of Navayuga  company to complete the Pumpwell flyover works by December 31 as per the deadline  fixed by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Kamath said no one is being allowed to pay toll  as part of the protest. He also accused the Congress of maligning  the MP over the delay in Pumpwell flyover works.

He said the BJP organised the protest to warn the company against failing to meet deadlines. He also said the Company has now given in writing that the works would be completed by January end.
