Mangaluru, May 26, 2018: The BJP’s bundh call over farm loan waiver issue even before the cabinet formation is a political gimmick at a time when the Chief Minister has already stated that he would keep up his words, said MLA and former minister U T Khader
Addressing press persons at the District Congress Office on May 26, Saturday, he said it was highly uncalled for on the part of the BJP to do so. He was also critical of the BJP for being mum over the issue of soaring fuel prices.
To a question if Kumaraswamy would continue as CM for the full five year term, he said it was left to the decision of the High Command. He gave a similar reply when asked if he would get a cabinet berth. To a question on BM Farooq of JD(S), Khader said he and Farooq are good friends despite being from different parties.
Khader said the doubts expressed about EVMs would be taken seriously. He further added that introspection would be done on the Congress failure in the coast. He also spoke on the measures taken to check sea erosion in Ullal.
DCC Chief Harish Kumar, Mamatha Gatti, Sadashiv Ullal and other party leaders were present.
