Mangaluru, Dec 14, 2014: District BJP President Pratapsimha Nayak has informed that the party will be organising a mass movement in every assembly constituency limits of the district in the month of January to protest against the failure of the law and order machinery in the district and also to oppose the partisan approach of the ruling party.
Speaking to reporters at the District BJP Office on December 13, Saturday, he said various untoward incidents right from the toll gate dispute till the Ulaibettu clash have taken place in the district after the Congress came to power. The ruling party has adopted a partisan approach in every case, he alleged.
He further blamed the present scenario of deteriorating law and order towards the notion of a few that the Congress leaders were three to shield them even if they resort to unlawful acts.
Stating that the party membership campaign is underway in full swing, he said it has been targeted to achieve a membership of 40,000 in every assembly constituency and 3 lakh new members in the district.
Party leaders Nitin Kumar, Sanjeeva Matandoor, Shailaja Bhat and others were present.
