Mangaluru, Mar 28, 2019: Ken Gray from Melbourne,  age no withstanding, though  67-year-old children’s story writer from Australia is set to tour Asia on a bicycle.  He writes stories for children on the portal www.majormynah.fun, was in Mangaluru on his way to Kochi, the last leg of his Asia tour.

Author Gray completed his Sri Lanka tour before undertaking the 37-day Kathmandu–Kochi ride sometime back. He always wanted to visit Goa, a popular destination for international tourists. He said he was, however, not impressed with the State.

On the way down south, he met Dheeraj Hejmady and Sarina Bhandary, riders from Mangalore Cycling Club, in Mangaluru.  Gray felt people down south were friendlier.   Bhandary said the cyclist donated his first bike to charity and bought the MTB in Kathmandu.  Gray would fly home from Kochi after completing the expedition in a couple of days, she said.
