Moodbidri, April 24, 2014: The Ashta Bandha Punah Pratishta Brahmakalashotsava  of the marble statue of the Lord at the renovated sanctum sanctorum of the Shree Hanumantha Temple of Seeyalabhisheka fame was held on April 23, Wednesday.

Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, the junior pontiff and anointed successor of Srimad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji, senior seer of Kashi Mutt Samsthan offered the Pratishtakalashabhisheka and  performed the Shikhara Kalasha Pratishta. He also performed other rituals including Pratishottara Prasanna pooja and Mangalarathi.

The seer blessed a religious meeting held at the Shree Sukratindra Kala Mandir of the Shree Venkatramana Temple later.

In his address, the seer said Lord Hanuman was the first of the five faces of Mukhya Prana and is known for his great devotion. He said prayers made to Lord Hanuman with right earnestness will always be  answered.

K Abhayachandra Jain, local MLA and State Minister, K Amarnath Shetty, B Nagaraj Shetty, former ministers, Kuladeep of Chowtara Aramane, KP Jagadish Adhikari, Umanath Kotian and other dignitaries visited the temple and offered their prayers during the festivity.
