 Bantwal, June 12, 2016: The fatal accident that took place on the National Highway 75 at Arkula near Valachil on Friday killing five youngsters, is believed to have taken place due to the folly of the container lorry driver who was talking over mobile phone while driving.

Some eyewitnesses have reportedly seen the driver talking over mobile phone and trying to pick it up as it fell inside the lorry when the  suddenly rammed against the divider and came crashing on the car and autorickshaw which were moving ahead.

It may be recalled here that the accident  had claimed the lives of Mohammad Nazir (29) of Sajipamunnur, Salam(22) of Nandavara, Sinan (16) of Maripalla, Unais (20) and  Shabi Abbas (48) of Vittal.

The driving licence of the lorry driver has to be cancelled. This is a unbearable mistake.

The pillion riders are charged by the police for not wearing helmets. But for talking on cell phones while driving which is very risky are not taken to consideration at all by the police.
