Annual Feast

Bishop Dr Eugene Joseph in his homily called upon the Faithful to  follow the messages of Jesus Christ. When there is God’s mercy on human beings, their lives will be transformed, he  added.

Describing the Church as the House of God, he said that  Jesus through his life and his works has proved to  the world that he lived according to the words of the Almighty. God’s mercy will also help us overcome the problems and struggles of life.

Ballari Bishop Dr Henry D’Souza presided over the celebrations. Prayers and blessings were also offered to the sick. Choir teams from different churches have arrived to be part of the celebrations.

Devotees who are visiting the shrine in large numbers are  seen touching the  feet of the saint lighting  candles and visiting the miracle pond. People are also swarming the stalls which sell a variety of things including the popular sugar confectionary called Thambde Gulley.

The church management has made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of the visiting devotees.
